Sangeet Natak Akademi Award — Scholarship in Performing Arts, Dance
Conferred by the President of India
Confirmed by the Sangeet Natak Akademi / PIB press release of 10 June 2026, as part of the joint 2024–2025 awards batch of 108 artists, conferred by the President of India.
The Akademi Puraskar is India’s highest recognition for practising artists. Her citation is for scholarship — the strand of her work that runs through Odra Magadhi te Odissi and the forthcoming Akademi title on the Oudramagadhi footprint in Odissi.
